Blueberry Grove

  Blueberry season has arrived! We are going to open on Friday 4th December at 8.30am until mid-afternoon. The blueberries are looking great and taste even better! We have had to put the price up by $1 to $16 per kilo due to increased water charges, including a $4,000 water monitoring valve. That is a lot of blueberries to sell! We now have an Eftpos machine but you can still pay in cash if you prefer. No pay wave or credit cards please. If you can't make it on Friday, we are planning to be open on Sunday too. Looks like rain on Saturday morning this weekend. Keep checking the Blueberry Grove page as we will let you know opening hours depending on weather and blueberry ripening. Please be respectful of our neighbours and park in the carpark, if possible. We are looking forward to seeing you all.

Saturday 7th March is the last pick day of the blueberry season .  Open from 9am to midday.  $15 per kilo cash only. As it is our last day, if you pick more than one kilo we will only charge $10 per kilo.  Plenty of Tasty Blue berries ripe for picking.   Stock up your freezer for winter!

Tasty Blues are easy picking late summer variety which are all ripening now. Come picking as serious water restrictions could end the season early. Our next pick day is Saturday at 8.30 am until midday. $15 per kg and cash only.

As it is Nelson anniversary day on Monday, we are going to open at 8am till midday for a blueberry picking morning. $15 a kilo and bring cash (no eftpos available) and a container. We will be open on Tuesday 29th January at 8am to beat the heat. Also open on Thursday 30th January at 8am so tell your friends and family to come along!

There are now plenty of ripe blueberries ready for picking after such a sunny week. As it is going to be very hot on Saturday, we will be open from 7.30am and close at 11.30. Don't forget your sunhats and water bottles!

Next pick day is tomorrow Tuesday at 8.30am. There is good picking on some bushes so need to find the bush and pick all the ripe berries on it! Just a reminder that the angled parking is set up for you to drive straight ahead and around the top of the carpark (Not sharp left at the gate). Hope to see you tomorrow.

We will be opening tomorrow Thursday 9th January at 8.30. However only C Block has berries ready for picking so supply will be limited. The blueberries are lovely and sweet though. We won't be open after Thursday until we have consistent sunny days to ripen the berries, so no picking this weekend.

Sorry but we are closing early today as berries picked out with a really busy morning. The strong winds over the past few days have meant we have lost berries and wires have come down on Block C, so couldn't open this block today. Hopefully will have fixed in next couple of days so can re-open Block C. We will give you an update tomorrow on the next pick day so please check before you come.
